Dusit D2 Chiang Mai

The Dusit D2 Chiang Mai is a 5 star, modern hotel in the heart of Northern Thailand’s capital, Chiang Mai. Everything about this hotel is modern and will certainly appeal to a young, hip market of guests.

Tamarind Village Hotel Chiang Mai

One of the most popular pages at ReserveThaiHotels.com is the one listing so-called “guest friendly” hotels in Bangkok. However we also get many queries regarding such hotels in Phuket, Pattaya and even Chiang Mai. While just about every hotel in Pattaya needs to be guest friendly out of necessity, other places, notable Chiang Mai, takes some digging.

I was recently contacted by a fellow who asked me if we had a list of girl friendly hotels in Chiang Mai, I replied saying that we didn’t have one at the moment but are working on one for the near future. He then wrote back to me asking if I had any suggestions that were close to the night markets in Chiang Mai and that he would like to stay in a “nice” hotel. I took that to mean 4 or 5 star quality.

So I did a little look around and the best hotel that I could find that fits what he seemed to be looking for was the Tamarind Village Hotel Chiang Mai. This is a beautiful 4 star hotel situated conveniently close to many Chiang landmarks and a 10 minute tuk tuk ride or 15 minute walk to the night markets and riverside restaurants. The hotel is set back from the road, affording quiet privacy while still being in the very close to all the action. There is quite a large pool at the hotel surrounded by many tropical plants and flowers as well as comfortable poolside lounges to relax in after tiring yourself out touring the various sights to see in Chiang Mai, many of which are withing walking distance of the hotel

I called the hotel and the front desk confirmed to me that they do not charge extra if you make a booking for one person and bring an unregistered guest back with you to your room.
